Today I’m excited to announce a deal that we have been working on for the past few months and how that will impact the future of contextual authentication.
What started as an experiment, lead into a tighter integration to power an adaptive authentication experience, and ultimately has resulted in an acquisition of ThisData by OneLogin.
San Francisco based OneLogin is a leading cloud single sign-on provider that has been using ThisData to enable better user experiences on their multi factor / one time password service. As we got to know the team at OneLogin we realised that we’re closely aligned with our vision for innovation in the authentication space and also our desire to create useful APIs and awesome developer experiences.
What does this mean for ThisData customers?
As part of OneLogin we will continue to develop and support our APIs and we’re excited about new innovations that will become possible from being part of a larger organization.
For the foreseeable future it’s business as usual but it’s also likely that there will be some cosmetic changes to branding and location of the APIs at some stage. We will give you plenty of heads up and a migration path if any changes to API endpoints etc are required.
For support, sales or any other questions you can continue to use the thisdata.com email addresses. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out, I’d love to help.
Thank you for the support in the early days of ThisData and we’re excited to continue working with you under OneLogin.
