Faster visibility over G Suite File Sharing & Drive security with new date filter

It's a new year so it's only fitting that we added a new feature that will make our G Suite & Google Drive security users very happy.

If you are one of the many people using ThisData to monitor and track your company's Google Drive files - new files that have been created and files that have been shared - then here's a little something new for you.

We've added a new option that enables Administrators to quickly find all new documents that have been created by any employee, across their entire company's Google drive, within a certain time period.

Maybe you, the Admin, want to check that an employee who just left the company on not-so-great terms, did not create any new documents containing confidential information to take with them as they left. With this new filter you can search for new documents created in the last 7 days, or 30 days, using a simple drop-down on the Files page of your ThisData account.

Here's a little explainer GIF to show you exactly where to go:

Next up we'll be further enhancing this feature to include an option to display the documents that have been shared over a certain timeframe. Look out for that update coming soon!
